Miller Law Associates is growing.  We need experienced, caring and non-aggressive divorce lawyers to join our team.

Our target market is pro se’s; people who have given up on lawyers but who may need them most.  We are not competing against lawyers.  Statistically, 60-80% of all divorce cases have 1 or both parties being unrepresented.  Desperate for help, they are now turning to non lawyer “paralegals” or document preparation services.  We do so much more for less.  We counsel and help guide our clients to resolve their family matter, prepare the court papers, file them as their lawyer and then secure the final judgment.  Winning for us means getting a signed final judgment on terms the client has agreed to.  We try and eliminate unnecessary confusion and related stress associated with divorce from our clients’ lives.
 
We do no adversarial work in court and do what we can to help our clients avoid a court contest.  Getting divorced is tough enough, fighting in court is not usually the answer and is often more destructive than positive.  Yet, we know that 97% of all cases settle, so the trick is helping our clients find a way.  Clients that need more help are referred to low cost mediators or parenting counselors.  We urge pre-suit mediation whenever possible.  We empower our clients to find a fair and quick resolution; then finalize it.  We have a very high success rate and it feels good.

We need experienced, caring lawyers to counsel our clients, draft pleadings and attend final hearings throughout Florida’s 67 counties.  The ability to speak Spanish, Portugese and/or Creole is a plus.  Hours can be flexible, including nights and weekends.  If you are retired or a stay at home mom or dad, we may have a place for you.  All you need is a phone, a computer and a strong desire to help.
